Writing Matters provides writing about UK, international and Latvian tax law and developments and Editorial and Translation Services.
I offer you expertise in two different areas:
I am an experienced writer, editor, communicator and translator. A specialist in tax for over forty years, I have long-standing experience of providing a reliable and responsive service, writing and updating material on all aspects of UK and international tax, for a professional audience and for the general public.
I have worked with all the United Kingdom’s major tax and financial publishers, and contribute to a wide range of publications, both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
After nearly a decade working in Brussels, I take a particular interest in Britain's evolving relationship with the European Union following the UK's decision to leave, and its ramifications on taxation issues in the UK and the rest of Europe. Writing Matters is a member of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.
Born in the United Kingdom to Latvian parents, I am fully bilingual in English and Latvian. Both my parents were also fluent German and Russian speakers. Coming from this multilingual background, I have been translating for translation agencies and directly for clients, for more than thirty years.
